Why can’t I see the changes in my document?

If the changes aren’t visible, try this:

1. Go to the ‘Review’ tab and choose ‘All Markup’ (Word 2019).

If comments are missing, follow these steps:

The red line means there are unaccepted changes. To remove it:

Word may crash due to the Reviewing Pane. To fix this:

1. Close the Reviewing Pane on the left side of your screen.

Can I add or update important information for my editor?

Once your order is placed, you can’t change the details. However, contact us if you need to add or update information, and we’ll forward it to your editor.

Can I add an additional service to my order?

To add a service, contact support to confirm if it’s possible. If editing hasn’t started, it’s typically no problem. You’ll need to pay for the service upfront, and we may extend the deadline based on word count.

If another service is recommended by your editor, we’ll contact you to discuss.

You should include the content of any additional documentation (e.g. guidelines, professor or supervisor feedback, etc.) in the document you send to us. Alternatively, when you place your order simply copy and paste or summarize this information in the comments box for additional information / requirements.

If you’ve received language-related criteria, the editor will ensure your paper meets these. They will also consider other criteria from your educator or supervisor to avoid conflicting advice.

💡 Note: Summarizing your feedback is often more useful than uploading lengthy documents, as too much information can limit detailed feedback on key areas. Too much information can make it unclear for the editor to focus on what will help you most. It’s helpful to summarize feedback in your own words as this leads to better clarity and focus when sharing it with others. This also helps avoid misunderstandings and ensures that key points are highlighted.

Can I get my document in parts?

No, we cannot send your document in parts. Our editors perform multiple checks, including a final review for consistency and errors. Delivering parts before this final review would compromise the quality of the edit. You’ll receive the full edited document once the process is complete.

Can I reserve a time slot?

There’s no need to reserve a time slot. Upload your document anytime and select your deadline. For large documents (>13,000 words) or urgent deadlines, it’s best to contact us beforehand via chat or email to ensure we can accommodate your order.

If your footnotes contain citations, the formatting and any necessary corrections, along with adhering to your requested citation style, will be automatically addressed, unless otherwise specified in the comments section.
